The GOAT is the creation of the newest and most exciting mountain bike stage race & festival in the country – The GOAT. The GOAT is a multi-day mountain bike stage event and festival to be held in Victoria’s High Country. The event is targeted at people of all ages and abilities, and is structured around community engagement & driving key tourism objectives.

The GOAT will focus on two key outcomes, the first being ‘complete not compete’, where riders will be encouraged to turn up and participate to be part of the festival and achieve a sense of completion amongst the GOAT family.

The second is creating iconic trails, that drive an ongoing annual visitation to the region. Riding in the region is like no other in Australia, the North East of Victoria is blessed with such amazing landscapes and terrain, offering some of the country’s best MTB tails. Using the GOAT as a platform to promote and encourage riders from all over the world to return to the region more regularly will be a key outcome for the community.

The GOAT as received support from Bushfire Relief Funding to allow the event to come to life. The above is the vision to help regenerate the tourism to Victoria North East and High Country.

Participants are estimated between 300 – 500.

Vehicles – 2-4 defendant on final medical plan with Ambulance Victoria, Medical Provider and other Emergency Services.
