Accessing the steel towers on the 220kV BATS-TGTS transmission line to install new steel hardware and to then string new OPGW wire to replace existing steel wire.
Given the correct weather conditions we will be accessing the AusNet easement on Tues 19 May for the four towers noted and complete all preparatory steel works, on the day, with two teams of 3-4 workers accessing the plantation.

Our work plan has us returning on Sat 23/5 to complete the stringing works which will involve a new line being strung across the very top of the tower (approx. 40m above ground level). The accompanying 220kV transmission line will be isolated and not active during works with isolation in place from the connecting terminal stations at Terang and Ballarat. Zinfra will have safety observers in place across all towers and qualified and competent traffic management teams in place for all road crossings along with risk controls to prevent access to works.

I have noted an extension of works to 31/5 to allow for operational and environmental disruptions that may push out the date of the proposed works.

A copy of the SWMS is attached along with a work instruction on how we secure the safety of the transmission lines for all crossings. A site specific risk assessment is completed on the morning of the work prior to any work commencing.

Zinfra have completed a HVP Plantation induction for all of our works which was completed by printing out the HVP Plantation induction and completing same as a classroom exercise. A copy of the attendance list is attached to confirm.
