Cable Harvesting Returns to Wandiligong

HVP Plantations wish to advise the residents of Wandiligong that cable harvesting operations will be occurring in the Jagoes & Grenville Gully areas over the next three months.
Operations will involve heavy machinery working within two trees lengths of plantation roads. To ensure the safety of workers & public any road that has potential to be impacted upon will be closed off. Key roads that are likely to have closures are Brown Road, Robinson Road & Moran Road.
Cable harvesting is a very unique & visible operation that often attracts attention from interested sightseers and HVP Plantations is requesting that the public obey all operational signage, barriers & instructions from operators on their work sites.
Log trucks will also be hauling within the Wandiligong township & the Mystic Basin. All drivers operate on UHF Channel 40 when on public roads.
HVP is working with ACP Inc. to ensure minimal impact occurs on the recreation areas associated with this area of our plantation, so if you are a part of an organised group under the co-ordination of ACP Inc., please also refer to the ACP Inc. website for updates on key closure information.
