Harvest Notice: Grand Strzelecki Walking Excavator Track P35396

HVP would like to advise users of Grand Strzelecki Walking Track that there will be harvesting activity in the vicinity of Excavator Track P35396 (Map P35396 Excavator Track VSCF & VSSL Actual THP Map V2) . The location of the harvesting operations means we will be required to close the track and there will be a steep harvesting cable operation next to the walking track.

Harvesting works will begin next week 7 November 2022 with harvesting to focus away from the track. There will be a need to potentially close the track for 8-10 weeks.

HVP takes safety seriously, please note the following:

• Worksites are closed (to vehicles, pedestrians, and riders) for the duration of operations. This includes when the crew is not present.
• Worksites are hazardous, and risks to people’s safety are not always obvious.
• Be aware of increased heavy vehicle traffic and machinery. The professional drivers transporting our logs are committed to safely sharing the road with other members of the community.
• Thank you for following the directions of all signage and forest operators.
