Upcoming roadworks – Bakers Gully area of Bright

We are planning on some roadworks in the Bakers Gully area of Bright
HVP Plantations wish to advise of a roading operation in the Bakers Gully area of Bright from 28th April for approx 2 weeks.

Roading works associated with upcoming tree thinning operations
An area of HVP plantation around Bakers Gully is currently planned for a thinning harvest operation in Sept 2025 (see map).
These roading works are to be completed prior to the planned harvest.
The roads will be closed to ensure safe operations (see map).
We understand that the roadworks may cause some inconvenience and we appreciate your patience and cooperation in staying away from the work sites.
Safety
Safety is HVP’s highest priority. Please note the following:
• Roads are closed to all public access for the duration of operations (this includes when the crew is not present).
• Worksites are hazardous, and risks to people’s safety are not always obvious. Some of the dangers are falling trees, dislodged rocks and machines with very limited visibility.
• Be aware of increased heavy vehicle traffic and machinery in the area.
Thank you for following the directions of all signage and forest operators.
