Certification systems provide an independent, third party assessment of our business and operational performance so the public, customers, neighbours, and our investors can have confidence that we are doing the right thing.
At HVP, we believe we do things well, and we are always looking to do them even better. The environment, social, and business certification systems we comply with help us to continually improve our systems and practices, ultimately benefiting the environment and our communities. Forest Stewardship Council®
HVP Plantations is the first forestry company in Australia to be awarded international Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC® FSC-C014387 ) certification. HVP’s certificate for conforming with the Well Managed Plantation Forest Certification is available here.

Responsible Wood
HVP has achieved Responsible Wood forest certification making it the first forest company in Australia to have achieved dual certification. Responsible Wood is endorsed by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).

HVP Commitment to FSC Principles and Criteria and Business Integrity
HVP Plantations (HVP) makes the following commitments regarding FSC:
- HVP has been certified to the FSC standard for more than 15 years and as such demonstrates a long-term commitment to adhere to the FSC Principles and Criteria and applicable FSC Policies and Standards, in the Management Unit.
- HVP will not offer or receive bribes in money or any other form of corruption, and
- HVP shall comply with anti-corruption legislations and principles.
- HVP have their financial systems audited to ensure compliance with financial standards
