May 2025 works: Stanley Plantation, redwoods area
May 5, 2025
UPDATE 9/5/2025: Works are complete and the area has reopened to HVP Human Power Pass holders.
HVP Plantations wish to advise of an operation in the Redwoods area of HVP’s Stanley Plantation during May 2025.
Maintenance works are anticipated to take 2 days, however the area around the Redwoods will be closed for approximately one week commencing 6th May. We will update this post when works are complete.
The area will be closed – including the redwoods – to ensure safe operations (see map below, or download to the right).
We understand that the works may cause some inconvenience and we appreciate your patience and cooperation in staying away from the work sites.

Safety
Safety is HVP’s highest priority. Please note the following:
• Roads are closed to all public access for the duration of operations (this includes when the crew is not present).
• Worksites are hazardous, and risks to people’s safety are not always obvious. Some of the dangers are falling trees, dislodged rocks and machines with very limited visibility.
• Be aware of increased heavy vehicle traffic and machinery in the area.
Thank you for following the directions of all signage and forest operators.
Community recreation
HVP recognise that many community members have an affinity with our forests, and enjoy walking, running and bike-riding activities throughout the year. Before entering any plantations, please apply for a Human Powered Pass. It is a condition of this Pass to remain outside of closed areas.
