Koalas are protected under Victoria’s Wildlife Act 1975, and our work – specifically in blue gum plantations – is regulated by the Office of the Conservation Regulator. Eucalyptus globulus (Blue gum) is the crop species in less than half a percent of HVP’s plantations.

Daily monitoring, staff training, and peer-reviewed procedures ensure our practices reflect current science and best-practice management. We continue to work with independent scientists and conservation partners to strengthen our approach.
