2026 Spring harvesting operations Centre Rd Thorpdale
October 7, 2026
HVP Plantations will be undertaking harvesting and haulage operations in the Centre Road plantation, Thorpdale from early October to December 2026. These operations will be located in the area between School Road and Ten Mile Creek Road.
Harvesting
The harvest site will be closed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for the duration of the operation. Large machinery will be working throughout the site and near the roadside, and trucks will also be loaded next to the road in required areas.
Below is a map of the operations areas which will remain closed to the public for safety reasons.

Safety
HVP takes safety seriously, please note the following:
- Worksites are hazardous, and risks to people’s safety are not always obvious or visible.
- The worksite is closed (to vehicles and pedestrians) at all times for the duration of the operation. This includes when the crew is not present.
- Be aware of increased heavy vehicle traffic and machinery activity in the area.
We thank you for following signage and directions from our forestry operators.

Please remain alert and drive with care on local roads.
Community Recreation
