Aire Valley: Road safety

This information is for people travelling to sites such as Beauchamp Falls, Hopetoun Falls and the Aire Valley Reserve (Redwoods) Day Visitor Area.

HVP resumed our plantation harvesting operation at the Aire Valley near Beech Forest in mid-December 2024, and timber haulage will begin in the new year on Monday 6 January 2025.

• Through January and February 2025 haulage trucks will travel on Binns Rd and Beauchamp Falls Rd (the access road to Beauchamp Falls).
• From February, trucks will travel on Binns Rd south to Seaview Ridge Rd, which is shared with members of the public travelling to the Redwoods.

The map below shows the routes that trucks will be travelling on, and Traffic Management signage and speed reductions will be implemented on site.

HVP would like to advise road users to follow traffic signage, kept left, drive to the conditions and be aware you will be sharing the road with trucks.
