Moe South update: Harvesting & haulage

December 24, 2024
Harvesting

HVP is harvesting eucalypt plantation at Moe South between Watsons Road and Moe South Road.  The harvesting operation commenced in early December 2024 and run until approximately the end of March 2025.

During the operation this area of forest is closed for public safety. The closure will be in effect 24 hours for the duration of the operation as the risk to public safety is still present when machines are not operating in the area.

The area currently closed to all public access is shown on the map below. Warning signage and barriers are in place around the closed worksite, including roads accessing the area off Watsons Road.

HVP kindly ask that members of the public respect this closure and any signage and barriers in place in the interest of your safety and the safety of the workers conducting the operation.
